Are there documents that provide guidance and information about the WLCI?

Several documents guide the work done by the WLCI:
The member organizations signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding in summer 2008 to outline the purpose and structure of the WLCI.
The Strategic Plan, adopted in November 2008, describes the goals and objectives of the WLCI and the strategies needed to successfully accomplish a science based, landscape-scale initiative.
The Operation Plan, adopted in November 2008, provides guidance to the Coordination Team and specifically addresses implementation of strategies through immediate or short-term actions.
The Science and Management Integration Plan, completed in April 2008, provides guidance on how to integrate science and conservation activities and how to apply adaptive management processes.
The Science Strategy outlines the science activities that will occur through the USGS and partners to provide the information necessary for success of the WLCI.
The Communications Plan provides a strategic approach for sharing information about the WLCI.
A Conservation Plan, currently in the works, will provide a road map of WLCI priorities, our focus, the approaches and tools we plan to use, how we will integrate science, and how we will monitor our progress to determine if objectives have been met.
Other documents are drafted as needed.
