How does the WLCI handle projects on private lands?

The intent of the WLCI is to enhance the landscape of southwest Wyoming, including both public and private lands. Work occurs on private lands through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program and Natural Resources Conservation Service sage grouse conservation initiative. Some work occurs through the Bureau of Land Management where a benefit to public lands can be demonstrated.
